A short update on our planning for SB25: For those who haven’t heard from us in a while, yes, we are still here, and as always at this time of year, we’re in the intensive phase of planning and are very busy, trying to work out all the big and small challenges and surprises a venue like the FEZ surprises us with. But the situation looks quite good and everything is coming together well, and in 7.5 weeks, it all begins again at FEZ—Berlin.

One thing we can confirm already: all the familiar areas and rooms at the FEZ will be available and part of the event, including the Orbitall space center, which was last integrated in 2019. The @inagrm Institute is confirmed as an exhibitor in this room.

According to the current plan, the outdoor areas—including the toads, audiovisual tent @499reality, with Acidbooth, the @korg_berlin space and radio next to a installation by @seufz234 —will be accessible until 9 PM, with late-night events continuing at the Waldkater next door, as last year, but this time with more preparation time since we know about the toads in advance. Not to forget, @bobeats YouTuber meetup in the wood on Saturday again.

The pro audio area has been further developed, and there will be workshops, presentations and masterclasses, along with DIY activities and, of course, a full concert program across several stages. We’ll share more detailed information on the concerts at the beginning of April. Over the next few weeks, we’ll introduce you to the single topics, exhibitors and various areas. Expect to see many familiar faces among our loyal regular exhibitors, as well as exciting new inventors, especially from the Eurorack community.

All ticket numbers purchased before 31.3.25 will be entered into the draw. If you want to participate, you still have exactly two weeks from today to decide about whether you‘ll join us in May. More on that with the next post.

Auch 2025 gibt es einen Zuschuss vom Staat, wenn man ein elektronisches Gerät reparieren lässt – anstatt es zu entsorgen. Erstattet werden 50% der Ausgaben, maximal 200 EUR, was auch bei der Wiederherstellung eines defekten Synthesizers schnell zusammenkommen kann.
