Zur inoffiziellen Eröffnung von SchneidersLaden im ehemaligen Musik-Bading vor gut einem Jahr kamen auch Frank Zander und sein Sohn Marcus Zander nebst Enkelsohn, langjährige Freunde vom Musikhaus Bading. Im Rahmen eines Berichtes auch über das humanitäre Engagement der beiden für Obdachlose in Berlin hat RBB Studio3 (vom 1.12.23) einen sehr netten Beitrag über unser Fachgeschäft im aktuellen Zustand eingebunden .. In den Herbstferien habe ich es geschafft, mal wieder ein ganzes Buch zu lesen und zwar eine Biografie zu dem früh verstorbenen Rio Reiser. Im Zuge dessen wurde mir klar, dass nicht nur unser Kunde und Freund Wolfgang Seidel, der ehemalige Drummer mir persönlich bekannt ist, sondern auch Nikel Pallat, den ich als in Bremen lebenden Teil des Schallplattenvertriebes INDIGO aus meiner Zeit bei dem Label Operation23 oberflächlich kennenlernen durfte. Nun fand ich im großen Internet, diese schöne Rückbetrachtung des bedeutenden Lebenswandels des Herrn Pallat, die ich Euch wärmstens empfehlen möchte:

SchneidersLaden is making a further move to Neukölln this week. So forgive us some chaotic circumstances here or there if you visit us, .. it will be all good in the end.

MACHINA BRISTONICA 2023 is the british get together for synth lovers, modular users and DIY freaks happening September, 30st in Bristol, UK. Plenty of attractive brands, artists, promoters and workshops are confirmed to be there, a party will take over the days program with live sets until sundays early morning, sounds like good fun:
Another shop for musical instruments in Berlin is giving up: Our dear neighbor Musik-Service at Sonnenallee 84 in Berlin-Neukölln has to close down shortly. The owner Michael Helm has started his SALE now, please see a few pics over here and feel recommended to go for some good deals now:
Musik-Service was an important retailer for all the quick things, musician needs for their gigs in this cultural quite busy area of Berlin: Tools for drummers, guitar strings, percussion instruments still can be found as well as real guitars of any kind, a few complete drum sets, bass guitars, amps and more.
During the last few years more and more used tools, accessories, desks and even a hammond organ ended up here having been returned by someone, searching new owners very quickly now!
As there is not many shops like this left now (..and even the owner of Just Music does not believe in a future for local musical instrument shops anymore) please be reminded that your local stores for hobbies and professions are an important key to keep it all alive!
Associate Director Elena de Lange and her new CEO John Mlynczak of NAMM USA (National Association of Music Merchants) visited Tom Koerting and me (HerrSchneider) – member and initiator /organizer of exhibitions on NAMM shows since 2001 – to chat about visions for a future of our activities. Since covid the NAMM was watching and visiting the SUPERBOOTH Berlin several times to collect impressions and inspiration.
We met inside SchneidersLadens showroom to also introduce John and Elena to our weird and still quite popular world of modular musical instruments with the freedom to create music even with no knowledge on harmonies or rules or scales. Afterwards we made a little walk thru our most dangerous areas around Kottbusser Tor heading over to Just Music, where they met managers of german SOMM (Society Of Music Merchants, see pic) to finally grab a good bite (?).
I shared the idea to get the annual meeting of music merchants (SOMM dealer days) and our annual meeting of real makers and performers (Superbooth) synced into one really good convention somehow (?) Otherwise NAMM should make this happen. No comments so far.
Das Großprojekt von RAdio Woltersdorf und weiteren, Radio Industry hat begonnen, jetzt ON AIR im Livestream vom 28. August bis zum 10. September direkt aus Woltersdorf zum Thema Baukultur Leben. Auch unser alter Freund Gammon wird mit dem Modular Synthesizer Ensemble drei Tage zugegen sein, diverse Konzerte und Gespräche sind geplant, hören geht immer, verpassen wär schlimmer!
IN Zeiten ausschweifender Gentrifizierung geht es Radio Wolterdorf, Pi Radio und den weiteren umtriebigen Aktivistinnen auch unseres 
Messeradios SuperRadio geht es auch um die kulturelle Eroberung der Stadt von ihren Rändern her. Die (auch) terrestrische Ausstrahlung des Programmes von einem alten Grenzturm bis hinein in die lokale Industrie wie das dort neu entstandene Werk für elektrisch betriebene Luxus-Autos war sicher auch eine Inspiration für den NAmen des Festivals, Radio Industry.
Als SuperBooth, Alex4 und SchneidersLaden planen wir einen kurzen Besuch im Rahmen unseres Sommerfestes für Mitarbeitende am 9. September, ich freue mich darauf und höre das Programm so oft es geht bei der Arbeit.
